Samples will be taken purely on the basis of convenience. It is anticipated that surverys will be collected on campus, at the mall, and by going door to door in neighborhoods. Surveys will be given to anyone over the age of 18 who is married. So as to be able to gague marital satisfaction. Ideally we will try to sample married couples so as to have a complete picture of the relationship dynamic. We are interested to see if couples are aware of the ways the both give and recieve love. It will also be very interesting to compare their respective levels of marital satisfaction with each other based on their communication styles and see if there are any satisfaction issues based on those variables. To gague marital satisfaction, we will be using the Seven-Item Short Form of the DyadicAdjustment Scale.
